Description : On September 17, 1883, in the newly validated California,
Indians became scarce and a band of evil villians stormed and raided the
gold-enchanted coast. Their name was the Pioneers of Destruction; they
truly have lived up to their name in the past three years. During these
three years, you have been unsuccessfully tracking Billy the Kid, and you
suspect he is the leader of this evil group. On the other hand, you have
been enjoying yourself in the warm comfort of the people who have heard of
your past heoric deeds. However, this has drastically changed; talk of
villages being rampaged and innocent people being killed have become more
frequent. As a former promise to spread good throughout the world, you are
driven to destroy the Pioneers of Destruction.
The main goal may seem difficult at first, but there is yet another
obstacle: you must build camps, guard them and hide out in them because other
cowboys may not be as friendly as you. They may try to take over your camps
and bring you total devastation. The reason other cowboys try to kill you is
because of greed; whoever destroys the Pioneers of Destruction gets a 300,000
gold piece reward.
To finish your quest you will have many other dangers. For instance the
desserts hold the mysterious quicksand traps; in the forest are grizzly bears.
Other hidden dangers are in various different terrains. They are as follows:
swamps, shallow rivers, brush, grasslands, mountains, dirt roads, towns,
graveyards, and the Hyrannian dessert.
In the towns of Ghost Town ]I[, there are a few survivors that give helpful
advise. This will help you overall and in tracking down the Pioneers of
Destruction. You may also buy men for your army and turns to play longer. If you
have ten or less turns, you can quit and save in a town; you will be totally
safe, but that doesn't assure safety of you numerous camps.
This is a great door for all the sysops who want the latest and the best.

Door name : Battle Quest - Shadow's Realm
Author(s) : John Richardson

Description : Long ago in the year 524 came the company of Dermondos
from their rest of adventuring. They found a hidden world all to itself
in the shadows of men, and henceforth named it Shadow's Realm. Other
great powers were there before, but the powerful company and other
mysterious beings such as the elves who disappear when they become old
to seek out peace away from man rested here despite the natives composed
of dragons, devils, and other such feared creatures.
The company of Dermondos found that they were the only humans to step foot
in Shadow's Realm, and practically the only humanoids, save orcs, giants,
and the like.
The lonesome adventures then invited a few others to stay with them and
began a small village, Tarnon, in Shadow's Realm. The Realm has never been
found by mappers and the only ones to find it were ones who either did not
seek it, didn't know where they were when they found it, or used powerful
magic to reach it. Therefore, magic is very powerful in the Realm, and is
more potent than in the normal world. It is said that if one is not
protected by magic, he shall perish within a blink of the eye.
The village contained the mages who have wandered throught the Realms
for a time now and wanted company and protection, as well as the elves
that had mysteriously disappeared.
Everyone made friends and were well met save few domestic arguments and
they lived very happily for 230 years (they apparently had suspended life
here). This is the time when the company was slain by the mighty dracolich,
Lyganathor. Few who witnessed the attack and survived to tell again spoke
in the council of Tarnon. Chaos broke out in Tarnon and brought the rich
town to its knees. Much magic from the elves are still buried in the ruins.
